Angels Bringing Messages From God

Updated: Sep 27, 2019

Reposted from December 2018 More Than Enough

During this Christmas season God is sending angels with gifts and messages to His Children. God is the God of Hope and as we see in Luke 2, the message that He sent through His angel Gabriel brought hope to the entire world.

“And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon

them, and the glory of the Lord shone

round about them: and they were

sore afraid. And the angel said

unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I

bring you good tidings of great joy,

which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in

the city of David a Saviour, which

is Christ the Lord. And this shall

be a sign unto you; Ye shall find

the babe wrapped in swaddling

clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the

angel a multitude of the heavenly

host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and

on earth peace, good will toward

And it came to pass, as the angels

were gone away from them into

heaven, the shepherds said one

to another, Let us now go even

unto Bethlehem, and see this thing

which is come to pass, which the

Lord hath made known unto us.”

{Luke 2:9-15 (KJV)}

Our hope in this Christmas season comes from what God has done for us in the birth of Jesus, His Son. While many quote the all too familiar phrase, “Jesus is the Reason for the Season” we must not just use this knowledge as one of the things that we say. We must BELIEVE this deep within.

The Angel of God shouted His message and caused the atmosphere to change at his appearing. The hope that springs forth from Jesus’ miraculous birth inspires hearts all across this globe to believe in the Impossible.

God is for us and He demonstrates this to us in many ways the angels praised God is such a way that proves beyond all human reasoning that there is only One King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

All throughout the Bible we see encounter after encounter with God’s Angels. God has spoken and said that we are not using all of the gifts that are at our disposal. In this Christmas season God wants you to receive the gift of His angels. They are there in your life to do His bidding. As your understanding of this increases so will your faith.

Hark the Angel Sings is an old Hymn that was sung during the Christmas Season. It is a reflection of God’s Grace. It is a reflection of God’s provision.

Hark! the herald angels sing:

“Glory to the newborn King!

Peace on earth and mercy mild

God and sinners reconciled”

Joyful, all ye nations rise

Join the triumph of the skies

With angelic hosts proclaim:

“Christ is born in Bethlehem”

Hark! the herald angels sing:

“Glory to the newborn King!”

Christ by highest Heav’n adored

Christ the everlasting Lord!

Late in time behold Him come

Offspring of a Virgin’s womb

Veiled in flesh the Godhead see;

Hail the incarnate Deity

Pleased as man with man to dwell

Jesus, our Emmanuel

Hark! the herald angels sing:

“Glory to the newborn King!”

Hail the Heav’n-born

Prince of Peace!

Hail the Son of Righteousness!

Light and life to all He brings

Ris’n with healing in His wings

Mild He lays His glory by

Born that man no more may die

Born to raise the sons of earth

Born to give them second birth

Hark! the herald angels sing:

“Glory to the newborn King!”

The richness of God pours through the author of this hymn down on to the paper. God incarnated Himself in flesh. God lowered Himself and became like unto us so that we could receive His love. The beauty reflected in the Christ child demonstrates the awesome Glory of the heavens that God has created.

Our minds cannot imagine all of the rich beautiful things that God has reserved to share with us. Open your heart to receive from the Father. Receive His angels, receive His gifts. receive the layers glory that can only be found in having a relationship with Him.

May you and yours Have a Merry

Christmas & a Happy New Year!
